The ninth day of the Islamic Lunar Calendar-Dhul Hijjah's last month is "The day of Arafat". It is the day when the pilgrims assemble on Mount Arafat under the sky in the state of Ihram. All the differences in races, cast, colors etc., equals zero.
The Arafat Day will begin in the late afternoon of 08th July and ends on the evening of 09th July 2022. On the 09th of Dhul Hijjah, when the Pilgrims gather on Mount Arafat, Khutba-e-Hajj will be delivered.
The Day of Arafat is the best day on the Islamic calendar. On the Day of Arafat, the prayers are answered, sins are forgiven, and Allah boasts the angels of the People of Arafat.
It is the Day when Allah Almighty perfected Islam and granted his blessing to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. (AlQuran 5:3)
The Day of Arafat is also remarkable because Allah swears by nothing except that day which is great and mighty.
By the sky containing great stars
And [by] the promised day
And [by] the witness
and what is witnessed,
On the 09th of Dhull Hijjah, when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) went to practice the divine worship Hajj with His companions, he conveyed the last sermon on the mount Arafat in Mecca. It is also known as Farewell Hajj.
The Day of Arafat is the Hajj's second and most significant day. A hajj is incomplete without the Day of Arafat. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said;
“Al-Hajj Arafah”, means “Arafat is the Hajj”
On the Arafat Day, after the dawn prayer, pilgrims start marching towards the Arafat while reciting duas and Talbiyah and supplicating.
Talbiyah is the Muslim supplication invoked by pilgrims as a belief. The pilgrims recite these lines loudly during Hajj.
